Sullivan talks Team GB and BBL in Metro

Great Britain captain Drew Sullivan talks about the Olympics and the BBL in his latest column in the Metro newspaper.

Great Britain captain Drew Sullivan talks about the Olympics and the BBL in his latest column in the Metro newspaper.

Backed by Standard Life, Sullivan is writing exclusively for the Metro to help raise awareness of basketball ahead of London 2012 next summer.

He talks about his move to Leicester: “Since I arrived in Leicester, the one thing that has really impressed me is how focused all the guys here are on trying to build something special, a team both the fans and the club can be proud of.

“I’m not going to get ahead of myself and make any predictions for this season, as there is still a lot to be ironed out, but what I will say if this team is able to stay together and remain focused, then the chance of getting some silverware is a realistic goal.”
