Two of the sides expected to challenge for the BBL Championship title meet at Plymouth Pavilions on Sunday afternoon as Plymouth Raiders host DMU Leicester Riders.

As his side prepare to face a Riders side that have yet to lose in Championship play this season, Plymouth coach Gavin Love expects a tough game:

“The Riders have the deepest and one of the more talented rosters in the league. Drew Sullivan [pictured], Ayron Hardy and Cameron Rundles have been the standouts so far this season for the Riders.”

Riders’ coach Rob Paternostro knows his side face a tough game in the West Country: “Plymouth have a lot of talent, their frontline of [Lehmon] Colbert, Anthony Rowe and Paul Williams are a class act.

“Add Jeremy Bell in the backcourt and you are looking at a team that is dangerous.”

The Riders play-caller is delighted with his team’s start to the season: “It will be another road game in the league, it will be our fourth in five league games this season, if you can win those, you put yourself in a great position for the long haul.”
