Drew Sullivan is set to return to action for Leicester against Sheffield on Saturday after missing last weekend’s action due to a back injury.
The Riders went down to a 89-79 defeat against Glasgow in Sullivan’s absence, their second home defeat to the Scottish club in little over a month, with Jamell Anderson filling in for the Great Britain captain.
Coach Rob Paternostro told the club’s official website: “He’s (Sullivan) going to play a lot of minutes and other guys will need to take advantage of the time that they are given.
“In Drew’s absence last week, we saw Jamell Anderson who gave us some good minutes and he’s been giving us good minutes for the last few months. I expect him to continue to do that and continue to be a major factor for us.”
Saturday’s match against the Sharks is the last before a hectic four games in 10 days spell which sees the Riders play at Newcastle twice, away at Glasgow and at home to Guildford.
