Cameron Rundles is unlikely to be returning to Leicester for next season, and may be considering a move in to coaching.
Rundles, 24, hinted at unfinished business at the John Sandford Centre following the BBL play-off final defeat to Newcastle in May, but that appears to have been his last game in the UK.
Rundles tweeted: “I wanna (sic) thank the Riders club, Rob Paternostro and Russ Levenston for the great experience I had, I’ll never forget that year!
“I also wanna thanks all the UK fans and my teammates for making last year such a memorable one. I’ll (never) forget the times we all shared.”
There are reports that the American may be hanging up his boots to focus on a coaching role at Wofford College in Spartanburg.
The point guard averaged 34.1 minutes, 19.3 points and 4.3 assists per game in 39 appearances for the Riders last season.
