Glasgow Rocks have filled their final import slot with the signing of guard Donald Robinson.
Robinson replaces Mychal Green in the Rocks roster, who recently signed with AS Soleuvre in Luxembourg.
Standing at 6’4″, Robinson averaged 15 points and 2.5 assists per game for West Virginia Tech last season.
Coach Sterling Davis said: “I spotted Donald in a showcase in Vegas where he really stood out on all dimensions. He is long and very athletic for his position and can really put the ball in the basket. I think he has the versatility to play 3 positions on the floor if need be with the shooting guard his primary position.
“I think he will definitely do well in the league once he gets used to the style of play just as any other newcomer to the league.”
The Rocks, who start pre-season on September 3rd, are currently preparing for their final game at Kelvin Haqll, an exhibition against a USA Select Squad on September 9th, before they move to the brand new Commonwealth Arena.
Their first game at the new venue will be against Newcastle Eagles on October 7th.
