Durham Wildcats head coach Dave Elderkin says he continues to see progress from his side during their pre-season fixtures.
Elderkin, who will see his side begin their BBL campaign on Saturday against Worcester, says the Wildcats have begun to show signs of cohesion and over the past week have improved dramatically.
“The guys were really still at the early stages of getting to know each other against the Sharks but the chemistry was clearly there against the Eagles and I think we have progressed a lot further in the last 5 or 6 days.
“There will still be more to come from us after this weekend but that will be the case for all of the teams. We are fitter and far better prepared than we were last year. It is going to be an exciting year.”
